Marketing & Sales Director

Position Role & Objective
The job holder will be responsible for maintaining the existing portfolio of clients and developing a wider customer base, collecting and analyzing market intelligence, in addition to developing and implementing business plans and strategies and enhancing the company’s corporate image.

The incumbent will also be required to ensure that company maintains brand leadership in the market place.

The ideal candidate should have:
Technical Skills
 Excellent Selling skills.
 Good understanding of strategic business planning, marketing functions (i.e. surveying & assessment, pricing structures, promotions), and sales development.
 A sharp view of business environment.
 High skills in setting systems, policies and procedures for sales & marketing functions.
 Attended relevant managerial, marketing, sales, business development courses.
 A proven record in managing a professional sales and marketing force.
 Very good command of English and computer literacy.

Management Skills
 Ability of monitoring a multitude of activities.
 Sharp planning and coordinating skills.
 Good trouble shooting & problems solving skills, ensuring correct procedures are set and that all staff are trained in complaint handling..
 Strong leadership skills (capable of selecting, motivating, directing individuals directly or indirectly reporting to him ) to establish the sales and marketing department.
 Excellent time management skills.

Personal Attributes
 A mature and presentable appearance.
 Reasonable aggressiveness to enforce the implementation of the new marketing strategies and the achievement of sales target.
 Strong communication skills (presentations, business writing, leading meetings).
 Good negotiation skills to finalize deals with existing and potential clientele.
 Creativity, Self-motivation and professionalism.
 Excellent interpersonal skills with high ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
 An outgoing personality with an ability to network and build contacts.
