Human Resources Director

Position Role & Objective
The position holder’s main role will be to manage the Human Resources department with advanced technology and modern systems, and support the Company in having a motivated and overall more competent work-force by successfully attracting, developing, motivating and retaining the best skills. This will be achieved by developing and effectively managing a true human resources function.

This position has the main responsibility for providing the Company with clearly defined and sound human resources structure. Additionally, the position will be entrusted with ensuring adequate support, services and security are provided to the Management Committee..

The position’s primary objective is to transfer strategic plans into man power function in short and long term.


Key Requirements
Technical Skills
 High skills in human resources management ( e.g. Grading structure, recruiting and screening, performance appraisal, incentives and benefits, training, and all other activities affecting the welfare and morale of employees)..
 A sharp view of Egyptian Labor Law.
 High skills in setting systems, policies and procedures for Human Resources management.
 Attended relevant managerial and Human Resources courses/seminars.
 A proven record in managing Human Resources function in well established medium / large institutions.
 Good command of English (French would be a plus), and computer literacy.

Management Skills

 Stamina for hard work with the ability of monitoring a multitude of activities.
 Sharp planning and coordinating skills.
 Good trouble shooting & problems solving skills.
 Strong leadership skills (capable of containing situations with minimum damage).
 Selecting, motivating and directing individuals directly or indirectly reporting to him to establish an efficient Human Resources structure.
 Excellent time management skills.

 Personal Attributes
 A mature and presentable appearance.
 Reasonably aggressive to enforce the implementation of the Human Resources strategies and to achieve employees’ maximum performance, with a diplomatic and positive manner.
 Strong communication skills (presentations, business writing, leading meetings).
 Good negotiation skills to be able to handle the employees’ complaints and ensure positive results
 Creativity, Self-motivation and professionalism.
 Excellent interpersonal skills with high ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
