Commercial Director

Position Role & Objective
To guide and develop commercial activities of the company; namely marketing, sales and after sales. The role also includes defining the right market positioning of the company, setting the products/services mix, conceptualizing new business opportunities for the company, reviewing and monitoring marketing and sales plans and directing market assessments, surveys, trends analysis and competitors intelligence. Also, assess and propose the establishment of new business relationships, build the company image in the market and endorse strategic aspects of the relationship between company and key clients.

This position has the primary responsibility of expanding IBSF’s business outside Egypt. Its incumbent plays the major role of building a wide customer base abroad for achieving challenging future sales targets serving the company’s current expansion trend. It also entails covering all exporting procedures’ details including clearance, negotiating L/Cs and L/Gs and follow up, etc.

The incumbent will be required to work closely - with the General Manager, Production Manager, Financial Manager, and Technical Manager.

Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have:
 Strong skills in business planning, budgeting and sales forecast.
 A strong marketing and sales commercial background in a manufacturing/industrial environment (preferably oil).
 Strong knowledge of all export and import related activities including customs’ clearance procedures, L/C’s and L/G’s.
 High capability to conduct market research with analyzing competition & industry trends.
 A degree in Mechanical Engineering in addition to a previous work exposure to the function is essential.
 A previous experience in the export business is definitely a plus.
 A reasonable costing background to obtain optimum realization of the export possibilities of the company at minimum expense.
 High command of English.
 Good PC skills.
