Chief Executive Officer
Position Role & Objective
To optimize long-term company market value and overall performance by developing business generation and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of all functions. Thus, the holder of this position must ensure that all company functions are integrated and synchronized to achieve targets and goals aligned with company strategy. He must plan and control the optimum use of all existing resources.
The position holder is the second in line after the Chairman, he would also have a parallel responsibility to lead and develop the sales, marketing and export activities throughout the company. The jobholder will be responsible for building and developing organizational systems and procedures, either on the technical or the management side. He will collect and analyze market intelligence, define the optimum market positioning of the assigned products and propose business plans and implementation strategies. Once these are approved he would mobilize available resources to ensure the targets are met (and preferably exceeded) within tight controls over financial, procurement, administration, technical and engineering functions.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
Technical skills A sharp view of business environment. Previous experience in large Industrial companies (preferably oil) in the sales, marketing, and operations areas, ideally in multinational or large private Egyptian companies . Ability to grasp all details concerning the company products/ services and different business lines. Good understanding of “business planning”, “marketing functions”, “export”, and “sales development”. Exposure to one of the following industries would be a plus: Mechanical, Power generated, Steam generating equipment, Oil & Petrochemical, Water treatment, construction, and heavy industrial manufacturing. Attended relevant managerial, marketing, sales, business development courses. Good command of English.
Management skills Ability of planning and monitoring a multitude of activities and projects. Ability to delegate work and responsibilities to others, with ensuring and investing in the team work spirit. Very good time management skills. High trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skills (capable of motivating, directing, assessing and developing staff). Advanced communication skills (presentations, business writing and leading meetings) Excellent negotiations skills.

Self- motivation, credibility, and professionalism. Self-confidence along with an ability to take timely and sound decisions. A mature and presentable appearance. Stamina for hard work.
